One of the most widespread misconceptions is that solar panels can only be used in direct sunshine; therefore, they are not worth the expense if you live somewhere it frequently rains, clouds, or gets cold. Even while solar panels function best on sunny days, the diffused light from the surrounding environment still allows them to produce significant amounts of electricity.
